| | | Owner : Brian | | Year/Model : 1975 BMW 3.0 CSi (VIN # : 4340016) | | Project End Date : 8/31/2006 | | About this restoration : Brian’s father had a passion for BMWs and Porsche’s. After selling a 911 SC Targa, he bought this 3.0CS Coupe in 1991 with the intention of restoring it, unfortunately, he passed away before the project could begin. Brian and his brother inherited the car after it had been sitting on a dirt floor in a barn in central Illinois for seven years. They decided, as a tribute to their father, they would fulfill Dad’s dream and sent the car to us. It did not run and had extensive rust damage when it arrived at the shop. After the restoration was completed, Brian’s brother’s interest changed and he sold his half back to Brian, who then moved to Las Vegas and had the car shipped there. Recently, Brian drove the Coupe to Lake Tahoe for his wedding (see photo) and now does many CCA events with the Sin City Chapter. You’ll also see Brian driving a sweet 2002 that is loaded with rare Alpina parts. |

I entered the 3.0 in the Hamptons car show this past weekend and it won first place in the coupe&cab class. It beat the XK140 you can see in the background which was in mint condition!! The car was the buzz of the show. People LOVED it and all commented on what a excellent job you and your crew did!!!!!This was the fist time i took the car out of storage since last year. It looks great and screams down the road. WOW, it sounds hot and runs great!
I just want you to understand the car BLEW people away!!!! The color, the interior, and the engine bay! Perfect!

Chris writes: There have been two cars from BMW that have been my dream to own since I can recall. The first is a 2002tii; I owned a 2002 in college but I always wanted the 2002tii (inka), and back in June of 2010 I received a completely restored 1972 2002tii (Inka) from The Werk Shop and I completed my first dream car. What a beautiful restoration from the WS!! The second BMW car that has been a dream to own for me is the 3.0. After receiving the 2002tii, I decided there was no other shop to restore a 3.0 than the WS. The Werk Shop has done extensive work already on the exterior and engine. All that remains is the interior and re-assembly.
I look forward to the finished restoration of my 1974 BMW 3.0 CS which is scheduled for completion by the end of 2012!!!!
